Acentia commends their efforts and strives to provide a work environment that supports our military employees, especially in the event that they are called to active duty.
Acentia has been recognized by the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR - a Department of Defense organization). Acentia was presented with the ESGR “Above and Beyond” award in recognition of extraordinary support of its employees who serve in the National Guard and Reserve. The ESGR Above and Beyond award was created to publicly recognize American employers who provide extraordinary patriotic support and cooperation to their employees who, like the citizen warriors before them, have answered their nation’s call to serve.
Acentia is committed to employment and advancement of qualified individuals with disabilities and qualified covered Veterans. All employment decisions and personnel actions are based on job-related criteria. All decisions that affect qualified individuals with disabilities or Covered Veterans, such as employment, future job opportunities and selection for training and compensation will be made without discrimination based upon the individual’s physical or mental disability or veteran status. Acentia supports outreach programs to provide opportunities to all individuals.
At Acentia, we recognize the contributions America’s veterans make to our company and the country. Hear from Major General Elder Granger, MD, USA (Ret.) who serves on Acentia’s Board of Directors:
“Acentia is proud and thankful for American military service and we are committed to supporting veterans, as well as active military and their families. We offer career opportunities for our wounded, ill and injured military veterans, separating active duty service members, National Guard members, reservists and military spouses. We are committed to working with veteran-owned small businesses and service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses.”
